On Saturday 18th January 2014 Tiree Maritime Trust are organizing a community event, in An Talla, to row around Tiree’s coast line, approximately 50km, using a rowing machine.
T
iree Maritime Trust is inviting everyone to help by rowing part of the distance. Individual rowers will be asked to complete 500m or 1km sections. There will be prizes for the fastest man, fastest woman, fastest junior (12-16), fastest team (of 4) and the best-dressed team. Competitors will receive tea and cake, and a goodie bag. Refreshments and lunches will also be available during the day for the whole community.
Please come and row with us on 18 January, or if you are unable to join us on the day, we would be very grateful if you could help support us financially by making a donation to Tiree Maritime Trust and, perhaps rowing 1km, on the day, at home or in your local gym.
